Musical Turtle

Note: Review only, product no longer for sale.

Pull the turtles apart and watch baby follow Mom musically across the floor

The top of the big turtle's shell turns (twirling the baby) while the music plays. The slow and steady progress makes it easy to track the turtles by either sight or sound. Music plays for approx. two minutes.

Play Tip!

Many excellent tracking games can played with the turtle. Deaf or hard of hearing children can track the turtle by sight, visually impaired children can track or find the turtle by sound. (a good orientation activity) The turtle moves best on a hard floor. Try having your child pull the baby turtle out - the harder the pull, the farther the turtle will travel. Measure how strong the pull was and see if it improves over time!

An accessible busy box is a wonderful chance to let children exercise their curiosity in a non-frustrating and available way.
