Signing to song is a fun and easy way to learn sign

Signing to song is a fun and easy way to learn sign and an excellent way to teach young children to recognize and accept differences in others. Piggyback Songs to Sign is a collection of more than 144 simple songs to sing and sign. The book is organized by themes related to the months September to May, followed by a Summer section. In each section four signing phrases are introduced to learn, with three or four songs to sign using each signing phrase. The signs in Piggyback Songs to Sign are a combination of ASL and English signs. If a word has more than one sign, the sign shown is one that is easier for 3- to S-year-olds to learn, with some signs being adapted for simplicity. The book also includes a Sign Language Alphabet index, and glossary of all phrases taught in the book. Jean Warren and Susan Shroyer 96 pages, 8 1/2" X 11" illustrated, songs chorded for guitar

Sort and Fit Board Teaches Fine Motor Control

Pegboards are basic toys for practically all kids. Fitting a peg into a matching space is a very satisfying feeling. This exceptional pegboard has more possible play activities then the average. The "double" peg system facilitates interesting colour and size matching games. The two kinds of pegs need different levels of fine motor skills, making this a toy that kids can grow with. Good for children with visual impairments and general developmental delays.
