New Cityside Station

Note: Review only, product no longer for sale.

Do you have a child who loves cars, trucks and buses? This is the maze for them!

Here's a great toy for stimaulating talking, listening, and fine motor skills. The new Cityside maze offers dozens of opportunities for "Let's Pretend" play. Colorful screen printed graphics provide hints to suggest sound ideas-a railway track where a train goes "clickety clack" or a station clock that might "bong" or "tick tock". Children love to zoom the brightly-colored cars through the looping roadway. As the convoy reaches the signal light, kids can mimic familiar sounds such as horns beeping, trucks honking, and brakes screeching. A lively way to learn colors, counting, shapes and fine motor skills. Suitable for boys and girls cognitively aged 2-7. (11" x 9" High)

Helping Fidgety Kids Sit Still at Circletime

Many children with sensory integration issues have trouble sitting still, in a circle, or in a class. For these kids, a sensory stratagy can help. ,Try letting the child hold "fidget toys" during circle or class. Try a Skwish, a few Wikki Stix, or Strength Putty. All of these toys feature sophisticated designs which do not look out of place in the hands of a school-age child. Save these toys for circle or quiet class time only. ,For more helpful ideas, see the article "Helping Fidgety Kids Sit Still" in the PlayPen.
