Buttonholes Shape Sorter

Note: Review only, product no longer for sale.

An ideal challenge for visually impaired children

These three dimensional shapes may look like giant buttons, but they actually offer a multisensory way to learn while playing. Children can learn colors and shapes as they sort and stack rectangles, squares, circle, triangles and flowers on the five pegs, counting to 5 and 25 as the total on each peg grows higher. It's fun to play mix and match games, to add and subtract and learn how to draw the shapes by touch as little fingers trace each different outline. An ideal challenge for visually impaired children and adualts with special needs who enjoy sorting, creating patterns, and practicing number skill using a tactile format. Each wooden shaped piece measures approximately 2.5". Suitable for cognitive ages 2+. Contains Latex.

Hydrotherapy: Keeping Your Chin Up In The Water!

Try the Head Float with children with Cerebral Palsy or Hypotonia. The material of the Head Float is the same density as human skin, making the float comfortable and non-clammy. This is not a lifejacket but will comfortably keep your child's head above the water, increasing feelings of security and fun in the water. Try putting water wings on the ankles for an interesting change of position!
