Its replaceable two-sided sponge, 3 3/4" (95 mm) diameter, is mounted at an angle to the 22" (56 cm) long handle. The sponge swivels to follow body contours. The model with the curved handle allows use without raising the hand much higher than the shoulder. The handles can be modified to other angles by heating with a hair dryer or heat gun at a low setting.
